Winter Operations |
In a first for Division 13 and Flotilla 1309, Safety and MDA Patrols have been authorized during winter months as long as conditions do not endanger the crew or the facility. Flotilla 1309 has one-quarter of the Division's winter ops qualified members.These pictures were taken on a recent patrol on the facility My Way, Coxswain RCO Richard Mullare. The time underway was shortened due to an unexpected snowstorm.FC Rob Spielman volunteered for the unenviable duty of keeping My Way's windshield clean in the freezing snow. |
